Yesterday Desi and I went into Sydney. We went to the Museum of Contemporary Art on the Rocks, and it was really freakin' neat. addelle woulda LOVED it, I'm sure. :) There was this one exhibit that consisted of a bunch of screens with videos of various things projected in them all crammed into a room. Like, four or five screens showing different things - sometimes all of them had sound, sometimes not. One room had four screens with butterflies on them. Another had this woman who owned all these flowers, and she was talking about them and preparing the bulbs. Then there was another exhibit of chewing-gum paintings. And another where this guy took suggestions on what to paint. There was a box for more suggestions, so I told him to paint a picture of a hot dog with this looming sillohouette of a guy reaching for it, and to entitle it "Capitalism." Mwahahaha. I'm so silly. There were all kinds of interactive pieces there, which made me 800 different kinds of happy. Whee!

Then we walked up to Pitt Street and poked around. We eventually made our way to the Queen Victoria Building (after many wrong turns) and checked stuff out there. I bought new knives! See, the knives Desi bought when she moved in were HORRIBLE. They were $5 at IKEA. They were SERRATED. So not right. So we went to this place where they were having a hella sale, and I bought a set of knives that normally cost $40 for $16! YAY! KNIVES THAT DON'T TOTALLY BLOW!

My subscription to WoW ran out last night. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to renew. We spent the last part of the week trying to finish Maraudon and never quite doing it, so part of me is so fucking sick of the game I can't believe it, but at the same time I know I'm going to end up renewing, especially if nogardmaster starts playing. ;)

I finally got an Audioscrobbler account. Pretty fun! I like being distracted by shiny websites. This one seems more worthwhile than Puppywar.com, anyway.
